“Some people may try to discourage you. Sometimes it may be necessary to remove the negative influence in your life in order to achieve your goals. It can be hard sometimes, but you have to be strong for yourself before you can be strong for those around you.”

Michael Threadgill draws on his sports background and education to create comprehensive workout programs designed to enhance functional everyday movements.

Sports have been a part of my entire life. Watching my father from the time I could walk, I did what he did, running and trying to lift his dumbbells. After little league sports, I started designing workout programs in middle school taking me into high school. Playing basketball, football, soccer, baseball, and wrestling, strength building became one of my major concerns to reach peak athletic performance.

I Attended the University of Maryland to play football and found martial arts to help with flexibility. I liked the range of motion improvements, so I spent a few years on judo, kenpo, and tae kwon do to further work the flexibility. I spent a few hours each day in the gym and this lead to people asking for advice. I began to help others in the gym shortly after I had a few different people approach me for assistance.

I enjoy biomechanics and physiology which lead to my cert in ACSM and CrossFit Level 1 cert. I push for a balanced approach to eating in order to push the body to perform at the peak genetic level of each individual person I work with. I train each person to perform the best at whatever task they have requested once a strong foundation has been built.
